Sandy Brennan is a Registered Physiotherapist practicing since 1991. She graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Physiotherapy from the University of Western Ontario.

Sandy worked nine years at the Ottawa Civic Hospital in multiple acute care areas including oncology, neurology, cardio-respiratory and orthopaedics. She began her private practice in 1996, and came to Bridlewood Medical Centre Physiotherapy in 2006.

Sandy has been a member of the Canadian Physiotherapy Association since 1991. She completed post graduate courses in Orthopaedic Manipulative Therapy from the Canadian Physiotherapy Association, Myofascial release, McKenzie Institute Mechanical Diagnosis & Therapy parts A through D as well as several courses in the assessment and treatment  of  the upper and lower extremities, spine and pelvis. Sandy has Level 1 Certification from the Acupuncture Foundation of Canada Institute (CAFCI).

Sandy has also studied cranial-sacral therapy as well as attended a number of symposiums on current best practice for conditions such as foot injury, total knee and hip replacements.

Sandy is an avid runner and offers excellent care for runners and other athletes young and old. She has expanded on her love for running and taken “ The Running Clinic”, a course which focuses on the biomechanics of running and management of running injuries. She is an active member in the community and thoroughly enjoys working with kids involved in football, skating, soccer, skiing, hockey, dance and gymnastics at all levels of sport.

She can be found at the clinic Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays, seeing her first patient at 6:00 am and her last patient of the day at 1:30 pm, Tuesdays and Thursdays 7:00am - 4:30pm

Lyne began her career in the Canadian Forces as a Military Physiotherapist. She has practiced in Quebec, Ontario, Germany, and British Columbia, where she also owned an orthopeadic and sports clinic in Victoria. Lyne has taken part in physiotherapy coverage in International, National, and Provincial sporting events. Constantly updating her knowledge, she also teaches physiotherapists in manual therapy, clinical reasoning, and biomechanical assessment, as an instructor with the Orthopaedic Division of the Canadian Physiotherapy Association. Lyne’s assessment is biomechanically based, and the treatment techniques she employs include manual therapy, myofascial release, acupuncture, dry needling, and exercise prescription.

Lyne has a special interest in sports rehabilitation - particularly running, soccer and dance injuries. She is a runner, skier, hiker, and does various water sports, and lives in Bridlewood with her husband and two active children.

CATHERINE IS CURRENTLY AVAILABLE AT EAGLESON PLACE PHYSIOTHERAPY

Catherine Lagassé Holden is a registered physiotherapist who graduated from the University of Ottawa in 2008 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Physiotherapy. She has been working in private practice since graduating and joined Eagleson Place Physiotherapy team in 2012.

Hands-on therapy, exercise and education are very important aspects in Catherine’s daily practice. Her post-graduate studies reflect this philosophy with courses in Orthopedic Manual and Manipulative Therapy, Myofascial release, Acupuncture, and Sarhman exercise prescription, to name a few.

Catherine is bilingual in both French and English. She is also a very active individual with special interests in both ball hockey and ice hockey.  Catherine is available Monday, Wednesday and Friday afternoons into early evenings.

JENNA IS CURRENTLY AVAILABLE AT EAGLESON PLACE PHYSIOTHERAPY Jenna has been working with Bridlewood Medical Centre Physiotherapy since 2005.  Jenna graduated from Dalhousie University in 1996 with a degree in physiotherapy.  She also has a bachelor of physical education (Sports Science) from the University of New Brunswick (1993).  Jenna has a very strong background in treating sports injuries as she worked at a sports therapy clinic for 8 years.  Jenna is a versatile therapist with expertise in manual therapy, craniosacral therapy, visceral manipulation and acupuncture.  She continues to take courses and further her knowledge in these and related areas in order to provide the highest quality of care.

Jenna is interested in many sports and has competed at the national level in soccer representing New Brunswick.  She is an avid golfer, curler, mountain biker and enjoys many other sports.   Jenna’s new interests include yoga and Aryuveda.  Jenna is also the proud mom of two very active children.    Jenna is constantly seeking new and better ways to treat and improve the health of her clients.  Jenna is fluent in both English and French and would be happy to provide you with treatment in either language.  She is available at Bridlewood Medical Centre Physiotherapy Monday - Friday from 6:00AM - 12:00PM.

Caitlin graduated from the University of Ottawa in 2011 with a Masters of Health Sciences, Physiotherapy. She has taken a number of post-graduate courses, including: Advanced Orthopaedic Manual and Manipulative Therapy Levels 1, 2, and 3 upper and lower quadrants, Acupuncture, Concussion and Post-Concussion Management, Soft Tissue Release, Neuro-Proprioceptive Taping, McKenzie Method (lumbar), Preserving the Active Hip Rehabilitation, and Introductory Vestibular Rehabilitation. Her therapeutic approach focuses on education, exercise progression, and manual therapy. She strives to collaborate with her clients to help them achieve better function and quality of life. ANNA IS CURRENTLY AVAILABLE AT EAGLESON PLACE PHYSIOTHERAPY Anna Schizkoske (previously Paul) is a well rounded Massage Therapist who started with the clinic in 2014 after graduating from Algonquin College in the Massage Therapy program. She works at both the Eagleson and Stonehaven locations. Anna’s philosophy is based on “outcome based massage”. That means she will focus on your current issues and help you achieve your health related goals. Anna is capable of treating most injuries and works closely with our physiotherapists to ensure you get the best care possible. She has taken advanced training in child and infant massage, which focuses on teaching parents or guardians how to deal with common issues such as stress, anxiety and digestive pain in young children with techniques they can use at home. She has also trained in TMJ (jaw) disfunction which is related to lots of head, neck and shoulder issues. These issues include headaches and jaw/tooth pain that is unremitting with dental work.
