Sandy Brennan is a Registered Physiotherapist practicing since 1991. She graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Physiotherapy from the University of Western Ontario.

Sandy worked nine years at the Ottawa Civic Hospital in multiple acute care areas including oncology, neurology, cardio-respiratory and orthopaedics. She began her private practice in 1996, and came to Bridlewood Medical Centre Physiotherapy in 2006.

Sandy has been a member of the Canadian Physiotherapy Association since 1991. She completed post graduate courses in Orthopaedic Manipulative Therapy from the Canadian Physiotherapy Association, Myofascial release, McKenzie Institute Mechanical Diagnosis & Therapy parts A through D as well as several courses in the assessment and treatment  of  the upper and lower extremities, spine and pelvis. Sandy has Level 1 Certification from the Acupuncture Foundation of Canada Institute (CAFCI).

Sandy has also studied cranial-sacral therapy as well as attended a number of symposiums on current best practice for conditions such as foot injury, total knee and hip replacements.

Sandy is an avid runner and offers excellent care for runners and other athletes young and old. She has expanded on her love for running and taken “ The Running Clinic”, a course which focuses on the biomechanics of running and management of running injuries. She is an active member in the community and thoroughly enjoys working with kids involved in football, skating, soccer, skiing, hockey, dance and gymnastics at all levels of sport.

She can be found at the clinic Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays, seeing her first patient at 7:00 am and her last patient of the day at 3:00 pm, Tuesdays and Thursdays 7:00am - 4:30pm and Fridays 7:00am - 1:00pm.

Lyne began her career in the Canadian Forces as a Military Physiotherapist. She has practiced in Quebec, Ontario, Germany, and British Columbia, where she also owned an orthopeadic and sports clinic in Victoria. Lyne has taken part in physiotherapy coverage in International, National, and Provincial sporting events. Constantly updating her knowledge, she also teaches physiotherapists in manual therapy, clinical reasoning, and biomechanical assessment, as an instructor with the Orthopaedic Division of the Canadian Physiotherapy Association. Lyne’s assessment is biomechanically based, and the treatment techniques she employs include manual therapy, myofascial release, acupuncture, dry needling, and exercise prescription.

Lyne has a special interest in sports rehabilitation - particularly running, soccer and dance injuries. She is a runner, skier, hiker, and does various water sports, and lives in Bridlewood with her husband and two active children.

With over 20 years of Orthopaedic Physiotherapy experience, Colleen brings extensive knowledge and an engaging enthusiasm for patient care to our clinic. She has advanced training in manual therapy, biomechanical assessment, exercise prescription, acupuncture, and trigger point dry needling. Her treatment philosophy is based on identifying underlying dysfunctions that may be contributing to the presenting problem… so don’t be surprised if she looks at your neck and shoulder areas when you present with elbow pain :)

Colleen is the owner and clinical director of Eagleson Place Physiotherapy. She graduated from McGill University in 1992 and worked in a variety of clinical settings including National Defence Medical Centre, Montfort Hospital, and Renfrew Victoria Hospital, before opening her own practice in Ottawa in 1997. She considers herself to be very fortunate to spend her days with such a wonderful group of associates, staff, and patients….and she loves her work!

CATHERINE IS AVAILABLE AT EAGLESON PLACE PHYSIOTHERAPY ON TUESDAYS AND THURSDAYS ANDAT BRIDLEWOOD MEDICAL CENTRE PHYSIOTHERAPY ON MONDAYS AND WEDNESDAYS

Catherine Lagassé Holden is a registered physiotherapist who graduated from the University of Ottawa in 2008 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Physiotherapy. She has been working in private practice since graduating and joined Eagleson Place Physiotherapy team in 2012.

Hands-on therapy, exercise and education are very important aspects in Catherine’s daily practice. Her post-graduate studies reflect this philosophy with courses in Orthopedic Manual and Manipulative Therapy, Myofascial release, Acupuncture, and Sarhman exercise prescription, to name a few.

Catherine is bilingual in both French and English. She is also a very active individual with special interests in both ball hockey and ice hockey.

Caitlin graduated from the University of Ottawa in 2011 with a Masters of Health Sciences, Physiotherapy. She has taken a number of post-graduate courses, including: Advanced Orthopaedic Manual and Manipulative Therapy Levels 1, 2, and 3 upper and lower quadrants, Acupuncture, Concussion and Post-Concussion Management, Soft Tissue Release, Neuro-Proprioceptive Taping, McKenzie Method (lumbar), Preserving the Active Hip Rehabilitation, and Introductory Vestibular Rehabilitation. Her therapeutic approach focuses on education, exercise progression, and manual therapy. She strives to collaborate with her clients to help them achieve better function and quality of life. Caitlin enjoys being active, and loves to travel in her downtime.  Caitlin can be found at Bridlewood Medical Centre Physiotherapy on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 12:00PM - 6:30PM and Fridays fom 1:00PM - 6:30PM.
